Create your cookbook with 3 easy steps
|
|
|
Step 1 Planning
Begin your project by setting a goal of how much money you want to raise and how many cookbooks it will take to reach that goal. Delegate important tasks by appointing a chairperson to each step: recipe collection, design and sales, etc. Weekly meetings are an important way to keep those involved on track. If you are trying to meet a specific selling date, be sure to build in adequate time for production time.
Step 2 Recipe collection
Recipe collection is without a doubt the most important part of any successful personalized cookbook publishing program. Several members of your group should help get the word out that your group is seeking recipes.
Fundcraft provides free recipe collection forms that can be mailed or handed out to members of your group. Fundcraft also offers an exclusive web-based recipe submission program.
Step 3 Design and layout
Once the recipes are collected, you are ready to put the finishing touches on your cookbook. Fundcraft offers a tremendous variety of free features, as well as For Pennies More design options at an additional cost. For those groups who may be short on time or creativity, designing a cover can be as simple as selecting a cover and divider set, and submitting any text you would like included in your local information pages. Then just sit back and relax; in 6 to 8 weeks, you will receive beautiful cookbooks that your whole group will be proud of. However, you also can design your custom cover if you have any specific ideas for the cookbook design.
