MONEY MATTERS

Payment Terms:

The Chairperson is responsible for sending payment to Fundcraft. The terms are one half of the payment due 37 days after your books are shipped. All organizations should plan to sell all of their books within 30 to 60 days. Reprints are generally placed shortly after the first order is sold. If you sell advertising, that money should also be placed into a special bank account and used to help pay for printing.

Individual and Family Cookbooks

We publish many books for individuals and families! However, we cannot provide the same liberal credit terms afforded fundraising organizations. Individuals, business establishments, and families are asked to pay one-half the billed amount when they submit the recipes, with the balance to be paid when the books are ready to ship. (A 5% processing charge is added to credit card payments.)

Tax Statement

Your organization is responsible for complying with applicable state, county, city taxes or local laws for collecting sales taxes and remitting them to the proper authority, and for obtaining any local sales licenses. Fundcraft sells only wholesale to the organizations. If your group or organization has a sales tax exemption number, it must be furnished to Fundcraft before the final bill is calculated. Otherwise, sales tax will be charged and is nonrefundable on Tennessee orders.
